While genuinely bad teams may publicly admit to a rebuilding year, no team is actively tanking games early in the season because they still need gate receipts in order to profit, and situations like the Spurs tank job for Duncan where good teams bottom out for a year are really rare. Instead, give every team that misses the playoffs 5 lotto balls, and award an additional ball for each game you win after being eliminated from the playoffs.

And most people only post the good things that happen to them like vacations, parties, pregnancy’s getting jobs and other things.
